Getting around St Thomas Island

There are plenty of transportation options on this island, but it is most important to note that driving is done on the left side of the road. The island has a full-service bus line, and there are taxis and jeeps services plenty to guide you around the island. You can rent a car, or if you do hail a taxi, they are known to pick up other passengers along your route on this small island. 
Magens Bay is a famous beach and park and is considered one of the most photogenic places. This beach features pristine blue waters and a gorgeous view you surely don’t want to miss. You can choose from various water activities such as renting a kayak or swimming and even camping in this local treasure. 
St. Thomas has an incredible history when it comes to pirates. Learn about them at the Pirate Treasure Museum located in Havensight. This museum features interactive exhibits and views amazing artifacts. 
For the outdoorsy of us, visit the Mountain Top located 2,100 feet above sea level and the highest point on St. Thomas. The most well-known and popular event on the Virgin Islands is the Carnival. The St. Thomas Carnival is the place to go if you want to have the time of your life! It is a high energy, vibrant and colorful celebration in a tropical paradise! The event happens at the end of April every year and is the island’s celebration of the emancipation of the slaves. It is a colorful celebration rooted in history and makes for a truly memorable experience.

Nightlife

Enjoy the tropical nightlife of St. Thomas, which is more abundant than any of the Virgin Islands. St. Thomas is the place to be for dancing to live music or relaxing at a nice tropical bar, and enjoying coconut-flavored cocktails.
